Carol Daver

Carol Daver heads the marketing division of the Academia and is a senior media marketing professional with over 24 years experience in the print and electronic media.

She was General Manager – Marketing for three years with The Asian Age from the Deccan Chronicle Group of Publications handling both the daily newspapers having 13 Indian editions and one international edition. Prior to that, she has worked for over 10 years with Magna Publishing (publishers of Stardust, Society, Savvy, Health & Nutrition, Society Interiors, Savvy Cookbook, Showtime, etc.) as Group Ad Manager and later as Group Communications Director handling all the magazines of the Group. She was Advertisement Manager with all the business magazines of Tata Economic Consultancy Services (The Economic Scene, Business Evironment, State of the Nation).

From business magazines to consumer magazines to newspapers, although the larger part of her experience has been in print media, she has spent 4 years in television with UTV as General Manager–Branded Shows, and Modi Entertainment as V.P.–Business Development, where she has conceptualized and implemented alliances, events, exhibitions, features, and supplements.
